DangerBaby is a quality power house POP/ROCK Christchurch Covers Band. With an extensive repertoire that spans the decades. Dangerbaby play all the massive anthems, classic hits you know and love and guarantee a professional & polished performance everytime! Dangerbaby use top of the line PA & lighting equipment but more importantly you are hiring seasoned, experienced musicians that will keep your dance floor rocking all night long!

All live and Proud. This is the Dangerbaby 5 Piece band! With same Amazing Male and Female Singers, Four way harmonies, with thumping live guitars, live drums, bass and a sax player (if requested).....this is the real deal! Involving the very best musos from Canterbury NZ.
ACOUSTIC / LOW KEY:
Canapes on the lawn with back ground cool - low key vibe music. We can provide a smooth acoustic set around your Ceremony or cafe or pre-show entertainment. Requested songs for walking down the isle, signing the register and pre / post ceremony....we have you covered.
AS A WEDDING PARTY BAND:
We have everything you need. You simply cannot underestimate the importance of booking the right entertainment for your BIG DAY. Nothing beats LIVE music and we want to take the stress away by ensuring that everything runs smoothly, professionally and is packed full of fun.
First dance song request? Dangerbaby can learn (within reason) any wedding song requested and perform this for you as your first dance. Please also ask about our acoustic set options should you require some background music before or after your ceremony.

The Dangerbaby corporate band is the perfect set-up for any corporate event. The compact line up of our Christchurch covers band is flexible enough to perform at any sized venue. As previously mentioned we have an extensive repertoire to suit any occasion, age bracket, or themed event. Our experience in the corporate market is the reason we have so many clients coming back to re-book us.
John - Guitars / Bvs
A well rounded player and one of the most experienced guitarists in town. John is renown for his accuracy and guitar technique with sounds and tone to emulate the real thing. A master of technology and sequence building, Johns guitar playing comes with a strong stage presence and player confidence. With ability in every relms of style from Blues to hard rock. John has a long history in bands such as Oyster and The New Entrants.
Sam Jones - Drums
Solid, Smooth and Slick. The NEW driving force behind the band. Recently returned to NZ from playing on the International circuit, Sam brings 30 years experience and energy to the group. Sam plays rock, soul, blues and modern pop seamlessly. With such a slick drumming style, his performance and character is a showcase.
Duane - Lead Vocals / Guitars
A local icon and Total Frontman, Duane has a vocal range second to none and is quick to adapt to any genre. His voice is slick, smooth and consistent and delivers with power and volume. Weather its a cool funk groove or a power house rock number, this guys pulls all the stops. Duane provides DangerBaby a masterful display of vocal theatrics and is a joy to listen from start to finish.
Peter - Bass
A perfect match on stage with Slick. A total magician on the 4 or 6 string bass axe. A qualified teacher of ‘everything music’ and a gentle giant with a vest for life. Peter Brings years of experience to Dangerbaby and and encyclopedia of music skill. Oh yes…..He plays upright bass as well!
Hinewai - Lead Vocals
A multi-talented super girl on the microphone, this girl has energy to burn on stage. Hinewai sings it loud, soft and sexy and one is never bored with her effortless voice. Hinewai has a versatile and dynamic onstage performance. She has a Stunning Tina Turner styled pop Voice with Soul and intimacy. Hinewai loves to rock!
Mahlon- sax
Mahlon is an iconic sort - after session musician who joins Dangerbaby to form our 6 piece festival and larger events shows. Such a lovely guy with impeccable dress sense, sensational sax and vocal skill with a lovable wit.
